As mentioned in our previous post, DJs wanted Serato Scratch Live and software controls built into a Rane mixer. Rane introduced the TTM57SL for Serato Scratch Live in 2006. It was the first 2-channel turntablist mixer with integrated USB sound-card and software controls. Scratch Live is vinyl emulation software that operates exclusively with Rane hardware. Scratch Live 2.4.2 (Legacy)
Rane TTM 57SL users: Before updating to Scratch Live versions 2.4.0 and newer, make sure your Rane TTM 57SL mixer has the latest firmware version installed.
Video-SL users: Video-SL is no longer supported in Scratch Live 2.4 and above. Video-SL has been replaced by Serato Video, which is a free upgrade for all existing Video-SL customers. Download Serato Video 1.0

Djay pro 2 external hard drive takes forever. Oct 28, 2017 Digital DJ Tips reader Jack messaged in: “I’m looking for advice regarding using external hard drives to DJ with. I am currently using a MacBook Pro and I am running out of storage space (I only have about 4GB free). I am unsure about upgrading to a larger internal SSD due to expense, but I am also unsure about using external hard drives in a live performance environment.
