The Pioneer DJ DDJ-SX2 is the successor to the DDJ-SX. With dedicated controls for the Serato Flip expansion pack. The four-channel controller and standalone mixer builds on the popularity of its predecessor, by adding multi-colored performance pad LEDs and on-jog digital cue point markers.

Aug 26, 2017  Scratch Live is an outdated software which was compatible with the SL2, and that SL2 can be used with Serato DJ (as a free upgrade) but the SB2 was never sold as being able to control Scratch Live. I haven't tested it, but it may be possible to use the SL2 to unlock Serato DJ and the SB2 to control it without having to purchase a license. Sep 09, 2018  Pioneer DDJ-SX2. Some people might prefer the SX over the SZ due to it's size and stuff but what it really comes down to is personal preferance.

• Serato Scratch Live is not supported. Use the included Serato DJ. There is compatibility between the Serato Scratch Live and Serato DJ databases, so those who previously used Serato Scratch Live can continue to use their crates, cue/loop points, etc.
• Mar 28, 2017 Don't believe the myth that you have to use turntables and vinyl to learn to scratch. Make sure you have your settings set to this position otherwise you won't get those nice clean cuts when.
